At its top and bottom, small clusters of red strawberries or berries dotted with gold appear, accompanied by slender green leaves and five-petalled flowers in red with gold centers, all painted with fine, precise strokes. The middle section bursts into scrolling acanthus in vivid ultramarine blue and burnished gold, forming elegant S-curves and curling tendrils that intertwine. The gold has a soft metallic sheen that catches light and sits slightly raised above the surface. The space around the scrollwork is filled with a delicate scattering of tiny black and gold dots, giving a sparkling, dust-like texture. Three decorated initials punctuate the text: a small spiral initial in blue and gold, a longer horizontal bar initial striped in red and blue with geometric infill, and a larger capital B in blue and gold containing a tiny painted figure inside its bowl.
