Against a solid black background lies a horizontal, rectangular fragment of cloth, photographed flat and slightly uneven, as if gently wrinkled. Its ground is a warm cream, aged-looking, with a fine woven texture and subtle sheen in places. Across the surface repeats a small floral motif arranged in neat rows, about six high and nine across, with some flowers cut off at the edges. Each motif has two parts: above, a rounded, fan-like flower in coppery brown and tan tones, and below, a compact cluster of leaves in olive green. It looks like a tiny old blanket for dolls, cream colored with many little flowers repeating like stickers. On top they have a brownish fan shape and below little green leaves, all with a dark blue outline that makes them pop. I like counting the rows, there are about six tall by nine wide, though some are cut off at the edge. On the right there is a plain strip with no flowers. The edges are frayed with little threads hanging, it looks fragile and like someone used it a lot before.
