I wonder how the gold and tempera have survived for more than seven hundred years without flaking off.

I found the hidden little picture! Among so many tiny brown letters there is a giant letter with gold and blue and inside there is a man with a white beard wearing a green long dress. He is hugging a very tiny white lamb in front of a little table that is the altar. I like that the book is super old, from many many years ago, and has huge creamy edges. The number 36 is at the top like the page in my notebook. Will the little lamb stay there forever?
