I do not know much about saints but this page reminds me of a sky chart. Everything is a sea of writing in two dense columns, like constellations of brown letters, and suddenly two bright stars appear: the historiated initials. The huge P on the left is like a major constellation with Paul and his three listeners, painted in blue, red, ochre and gold. Further down the small M is another intimate light, Paul alone writing. Even the running title above in alternating red and blue looks like the label on a celestial chart that guides the reader.
