The WISE mosaic shows layers of cosmic dust like superimposed glazes, with creamy whites at the center and reddish and violet veils expanding like smoke. There are no brushstrokes, but there is a filamentous texture and opaque densities that would need to be cleaned with light, not solvents, so as not to lose those turquoise blues of the star field.

El mosaico de WISE deja ver capas de polvo cósmico como veladuras superpuestas, con blancos crema en el centro y velos rojizos y violáceos que se expanden como humo. No hay pinceladas, pero sí textura filamentosa y densidades opacas que habría que limpiar con luz, no con solventes, para no perder esos azules turquesa del campo estelar.

In infrared the reddish dust that normally hides the stars becomes transparent and we see stellar nurseries. It is like having superhero vision to see through the darkness.

It looks like a giant magic cloud floating in the darkness and glowing from inside like a lamp. In the center it is white and creamy and then it turns pink and purple like cotton candy stretching downwards. Around it there are lots of tiny blue and white stars that sparkle like frost. I imagine that if you touch it, it feels soft and warm. At the bottom left there are two little lonely lights that look like curious eyes watching everything.
