This is folio 206 verso, a text page from the Hours of Charles the Noble, King of Navarre (1361-1425), made in Paris around 1405 in ink, tempera, and gold on vellum. According to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Charles probably acquired this book of hours, perhaps ready-made for the luxury market, during a trip to Paris in 1404-05, and had his coat of arms painted on no fewer than twenty folios. Six painting styles have been identified in the volume, by Italian, French, and Netherlandish artists. Overall planning is attributed to the Bolognese Master of the Brussels Initials.

It looks like a magic page with tiny crowded brown letters. I like the three big blue letters with pink and gold that look like jewels. Around it there is a vine climbing like a playful plant with blue, green and orange leaves and lots of golden dots. I saw little colorful birds hidden among the branches. On the left there is a little man with a pink animal body who looks like he is dancing and at the bottom a green dragon with a curly tail looking at a tiny open book. I want to keep searching for more little animals.
