The Oath of Abraham's Servant, painted around 1650–59 in oil on canvas by the Italian artist Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione (1609–1664), is held by the Cleveland Museum of Art. According to the museum, it was long called Journey of a Patriarch, in the belief that it showed no specific subject. It is now identified as an episode from Genesis in the Old Testament: Abraham obtains a pledge from his servant to find a wife for his son Isaac. The servant wears a zamt, a goatskin cap common in North Africa in the 1600s, here dyed an unusual blue.

Behind there is a donkey with barrels and a young man hiding behind a tree. There is even a long musical instrument lying among baskets and jars.
